Ohmmu didn't start as a big company with a big budget. It started with a simple belief — that EV owners deserved a better 12V battery than the outdated lead-acid technology their vehicles shipped with.
Founded under the name BattMobile Batteries, Ohmmu has been building lithium 12V batteries for Tesla and other EVs since 2015 — long before the rest of the industry caught on. What began as a solution for one community grew into something far bigger.
Built on obsession, backed by science
From those early days, the mission never wavered. Over the past 10 years since selling their first batteries, Ohmmu has continued to improve and expand their product capability and features using the latest innovations in 12V battery technology. What started as a focused solution for Tesla owners has grown into a full product ecosystem serving the entire EV landscape — including Rivian, Genesis, Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, Kia, and more.
From day one, Ohmmu has done something most battery companies don't — they test. Ohmmu Energy invested significant time and resources into building a state-of-the-art R&D lab where battery cells and assemblies are put to the ultimate test, performing OEM Tier-1 grade testing that no other provider of these battery solutions matches.

In an industry full of inflated specs and marketing tricks, Ohmmu chose a different path. At Ohmmu, the decision was made upfront to never use misleading capacity claims — instead publishing what they call "REAL Ah" ratings, giving customers a true apples-to-apples comparison rather than inflated equivalency numbers.

Today that mission has expanded beyond EVs — into RVs, overland, marine, deep cycle, commercial trucking, and the next frontier of battery chemistry: sodium. Ohmmu specializes in high-performance lithium and sodium batteries designed for electric vehicles, overland and off-road vehicles, RVs, marine applications, and off-grid systems — emphasizing longer life, lighter weight, and superior performance.
