Built by landlords, for landlords.
Innago began with a simple frustration. CEO and Co-Founder Dave Spooner set out to build a better tool for student housing — but as he dug deeper into the market, he realized the real opportunity was broader. Independent landlords everywhere were underserved, overpaying for bloated software, or stuck managing properties with spreadsheets and paper leases.
Dave teamed up with Co-Founder Yasir Drabu to build something different: a platform that was genuinely accessible, affordable, and designed for the everyday small to mid-sized landlord — not enterprise property management companies.
As landlords themselves, Dave and Yasir understood the challenges firsthand. They wanted to help other landlords deliver a professional renting experience without the cost and complexity of hiring professional management. The result is Innago — completely free, and built with the independent landlord in mind.

Innago must simplify the process of working, living, and interacting for both landlords and their tenants. If Innago is not simple, it will not work.

Landlords do not have hours to spend daily learning a new system. They don't have time for costly and cumbersome certification. We must guide our users naturally and organically towards a solution so that they can take work off their plate.

From lease terms to late fees, no two landlords operate in an identical manner. Innago must provide landlords the flexibility to manage their rentals in the way that best suits their business.

It shouldn't cost thousands of dollars annually for tools to manage a business. That's why we made accessing and using Innago entirely free.
