Canvas ETC: Canvas Fabric, Custom Fabric Printing and Textile Solutions

Canvas ETC is an online fabric supplier and textile service provider specializing in canvas, cotton fabrics, denier fabrics, artist canvas, vinyl, outdoor fabrics, and other textile materials. The company serves both individual customers and businesses, offering fabric by the yard or in full rolls as well as a range of finishing and custom printing services. Its product selection is intended for applications ranging from art and crafting to apparel, outdoor projects, home décor, events, and commercial use.

Canvas Fabric and Cotton Duck

Canvas is one of the main product categories at Canvas ETC. The company offers cotton duck canvas in multiple weights, along with waxed canvas, artist canvas, Sunforger canvas, and other cotton-based materials. Different canvas weights are suited to different applications, including bags, workwear, tents, tarps, furniture covers, artist canvases, and other projects.

The store provides both lighter and heavier canvas options, allowing customers to select materials based on the intended use. Its catalog includes numbered duck canvas as well as other cotton canvas varieties, giving makers and businesses access to different fabric weights and constructions.

Denier and Specialty Fabrics

Beyond cotton canvas, Canvas ETC carries a broad selection of denier and specialty fabrics. The company highlights denier fabrics, insulated fabrics, marine and awning fabrics, truck tarp materials, tent and tipi fabrics, and vinyl among its available categories.

These materials can be used across different applications where customers require particular combinations of weight, construction, durability, or finish. The company also provides information about fabric characteristics and common applications to help customers select an appropriate material for their projects.

Custom Fabric Printing

Custom fabric printing is an important part of Canvas ETC's business. Customers can submit their own artwork, photographs, logos, or patterns and have them printed onto a selection of fabric types. The company states that it offers custom printing on more than 20 different fabrics, with options that include cotton, polyester, linen blends, satin, velvet, canvas, and other materials.

Custom printed fabric can be used to create products such as pillows, curtains, garments, scarves, throws, tapestries, wall art, and other decorative or functional items. Canvas ETC also works with businesses that need branded textiles and customized materials.

Digital Printing and Customization

Canvas ETC describes its digital fabric printing service as a process that can cover file submission, proofing, printing, sampling, prototyping, and production. Customers can choose their preferred fabric and submit a design for printing according to the project's requirements.

The company also provides guidance regarding artwork files. For custom fabric printing, it recommends high-resolution JPG files at approximately 150–300 DPI and accepts TIF files. Customers can request fabric swatches before ordering to evaluate texture, weight, and finish.

Fabric Cutting, Sewing and Finishing

Canvas ETC offers additional textile finishing services alongside fabric sales and printing. These services include cutting or slitting, sewing, coloring, custom dyeing, and printing. This allows the company to provide more than unfinished fabric for customers who need materials prepared for a specific project.

The company can also produce finished goods from its available fabrics. Examples mentioned on its website include tote bags, drapes, tablecloths, table runners, scarves, decorative wall art, and other textile products.

Fabric for Artists, Makers and Designers

Canvas ETC serves a range of customers, including artists, crafters, designers, businesses, and other people working on textile projects. Its selection of artist canvas and painting fabrics provides materials for traditional artwork, while its broader collection supports sewing, upholstery, home décor, apparel, and creative projects.

The company also provides fabric swatches so customers can examine a material's weight, texture, and finish before committing to a larger purchase. For custom printing projects, printed swatches are available to help customers evaluate the material and print result.

Wholesale and Business Fabric Solutions

Canvas ETC serves both consumers and businesses. Customers can purchase fabric by the yard or in full rolls, while businesses can work with the company on larger textile requirements and customized projects.

Its business-oriented services include custom fabric printing, branded tote bags, trade show table covers, displays, banner stands, and other promotional textile products. The company can print logos, designs, and business information onto selected fabrics for marketing and event applications.
