It all started with a sunburn
and a pretty dumb question.

Three friends in Reading, Pennsylvania were tired of looking like ghosts every winter. One of them asked, “Why isn’t there a self-tanning product actually made for men?”
No one had a good answer — so they decided to create one themselves.

No focus groups. No detailed business plan. Just a lot of trial and error, a bit of beet-derived DHA, and a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

By March 2021, Bro Glo officially launched — and guys couldn’t get enough.

2020 – Where It All Began
Three friends had a simple idea: create a self-tanner specifically for men. No gimmicks, no nonsense — just a product that works.

March 2021 – Launch Day
Bro Glo goes live. Orders start rolling in, and word spreads fast. Turns out, guys do want to look good — they just needed something that wasn’t a “rebranded women’s product in blue packaging.”

2021 – 2023 – Growth Phase
The brand gains traction, builds a loyal community, and continues refining its products.

January 2025 – Shark Tank Moment
The Shark Tank team reached out in early 2024. Filming took place in June, and the episode aired in January 2025.
Jaron took his shirt off. Mr. Wonderful applied self-tanner live on stage. Laurie loved the branding and ingredients. Every shark made an offer — and Mark Cuban closed the deal.

TikTok Explosion
Videos started hitting millions of views. Orders came in faster than they could be shipped. The founders stayed up all night packing boxes, turning a side project into a real business. New products launched. The community kept growing.

And Now — We’re Just Getting Started

Over 200,000 guys have used Bro Glo.
New formulas. New products. A deal with Mark Cuban.

But at the core, it’s still the same three friends who started it all.

The mission hasn’t changed:
Create self-tanning products that guys actually want to use — and have fun doing it.
