Our Story

Biocare was developed and brought to market by Robard Corporation, a trusted leader in medical weight management and high-quality nutritional products for nearly 50 years. Robard’s flagship weight management programs, New Direction and Numetra, are widely recognized and used by physicians, surgeons, and hospitals across the United States to effectively treat obesity and related chronic conditions.

As GLP-1 weight loss medications were preparing to launch in the United States, the Robard team identified a critical gap in nutritional support for patients on reduced-calorie diets while using these medications. Recognizing the potential for compromised nutritional wellness, Robard scientifically designed Biocare to specifically address the digestive and nutritional challenges posed by GLP-1 treatments.
